June 10, 2011. Vista, California. Metric Systems Corporation announced that its popular environmentally controlled electronic equipment enclosure, the Rhino Box™, is now available in new standard and custom model configurations.
The new product offerings give customers a standardized approach to ordering a Rhino Box™ while still supporting the customization options for which MSC is so well known. With multiple case sizes (9U, 11U, 12U, 14U, and 19U) supporting both U.S. and international power configurations, the new Rhino Box™ product family simplifies and expedites ordering.
After successful deployment of a Rhino Box™ based mesh dynamic network with the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) on the Yuma-Mexico border, President Bill Brown noted that “one of the greatest challenges we surmounted was in providing a solution adaptable to the harsh, variant-temperature desert climate. After years of research, we were able to deploy the all-terrain, all-weather rugged Rhino Box™ just for this very purpose.”
Jeff Estes, CBP-Oit Project Manager, stated in support:
MSC’s success in the CBP project was instrumental in propelling the move to broaden its Rhino Box™ offerings. For more information on Rhino Box™ models and availability, please visit the Rhino Box™ homepage, or call us at (760) 560-0348.
