Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum is the fundamental resource of the wireless revolution. In 2010, the FCC opened unused TV channels in the VHF and UHF bands, called TV White Space (TVWS), for regional unlicensed use.
Equipment operating in the TVWS spectrum offers superior propagation characteristics over unlicensed WiFi and microwave equipment. Our equipment uses this spectrum and capability to solve a wide-range of existing difficult network access needs deep within above and below ground structures to long-range over water and land.
Metric System Corporation (MSC) is a manufacturing stage start-up firm designing and manufacturing equipment to monetize this spectrum.
Countries around the globe are following the FCC’s lead in opening this spectrum for unlicensed commercial and industrial use. This offers MSC the opportunity to expand its sales base and to contribute to the vast unmet and ever-increasing international internet access demands of all nations and regions.
