SAFARI™ Oasis

Overview

SAFARI™ Oasis™ is a complete system approach for building wide and local area wireless and wired networks.

The SAFARI™ Oasis™ system enables you to quickly and economically build scalable, reliable and secure communication networks to meet nearly any wireless application.

Using only four basic building blocks you can design, implement and maintain simple to complex voice, video and data backbone networks to efficiently support single or multiple independent users over any region or territory.

Applications

  • Civil and Administrative Infrastructures: securely interconnect municipal and regional agencies
  • Health: integrate hospital, clinic and pharmacies into a common voice, video and data structure
  • Education: interconnect universities, primary and secondary institutions
  • Industrial: provide in-building, wide-area SCADA, data, VoIP, video, and telemetry networks
  • Public Safety: provide secure wide-area and local voice, video, data services and infrastructure
  • Internet Service Provider: security services, inter and intra-city revenue VoIP and data services
  • Hospitality: avoid internal wiring and provide secure broadband services for inns and resorts of all sizes
  • National Security: rapidly deploy secure and robust disaster support communications systems
  • Commerce:securely support multiple independent business and retail establishments

Network Hardware and Software Components

  1. The SAFARI™ Wireless Network Controller, an integrated Linux-based secure gateway, router and wireless controller act as the core information gateway between the wireless/wired and end-user domains
  2. Licensed and unlicensed broadband wireless and support equipment. A SAFARI™ Oasis network is radio agnostic. Just as a router can interface with multiple physical level data services, i.e. wire, fiber, satellite, a SAFARI™ controller can interface with a wide variety of wireless and radio devices and systems
  3. User network equipment includes: PC, WLAN, RFID, sensor devices, streaming video, telephone systems
  4. SAFARIView Network application enables password control, administration, management, monitoring and diagnostics of all SAFARI™ network elements
